Io Interactive (IOI) was established in September 1998 as a joint venture between Nordisk Film & TV and the game developer Reto-Moto. Today IoI is a part of the game publishing company Eidos plc.
Io Interactive develops computer games for the global market. Using proprietary technologies IoI products are represented on all major formats such as PC, Xbox, PS2 and GameCube.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Io-Interactive's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2000 title, "Hitman: Codename 47" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS, PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Of these, "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" (Xbox), "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" (PS2), "Hitman: Blood Money" (Xbox), "Hitman: Blood Money" (PS2), "Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days" (Xbox 360) has been a best selling title.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2013 release "Hitman: HD Trilogy" (Xbox 360).
