Gathering of Developers were founded in Dallas, Texas in January 1998. GOD is a developer-driven computer and video game publishing company, and a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. The company's mission is to be the worldwide leader in the development and delivery of commercially successful computer game software designed for a range of platforms. The company's pioneering partners are industry leaders and proven hit mailers 3D Realms, Epic Games, PopTop
Software, Ritual Entertainment, Terminal Reality Inc and Edge of Reality. Headquartered in New York City.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
GOD's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2000 title, "Kiss Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child" (PlayStation).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS2, PC, Power Mac, PlayStation, Xbox and Dreamcast. Of these, "Mafia" (PC), "Vietcong" (PC), "Mafia" (Xbox) and "Nocturne" (PC) have been best selling titles.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2004 release "Vietcong: Purple Haze" (Xbox).
