If it's summer then it must be time once again for the biggest annual event in golf games; the release of a new EA Sports PGA Tour Golf version. Electronic Arts' PGA Golf Games franchise dates all the way back to 1991 and the series has been endorsed by Tiger Woods, the most famous name in golfing, since PGA Tour 2005.

Electronic Arts' PGA Golf Games franchise dates all the way back to 1991 and the series has been endorsed by Tiger Woods, the most famous name in golfing, since PGA Tour 2005.
As always the game bring the most realistic golf simulation to a range of home consoles, in a manner that is playable by even the most ham-fisted duffer. But as always, EA have added a range of new features to keep existing players entertained and to attract new ones.
Apart from tinkering with club distances to make the game more realistic, EA has also improved the realism of the putting aspect of the game, to add thrilling finishes to each hole.
There are a range of single player and multi-player game modes. And for the first time, Tiger Woods' PGA Tour 10 also features the ability to play in the U.S. Open and the USGA Championship.
There is the usual line up of tournament courses, with a selection of new ones including Bethpage Black, Torrey Pines, and Oakmont.
A new mode: Tournament Challenge, enables players to replicate the set-up famous shots and holes from the history of the PGA tour, and see if they can play through better than the pros did. << less
