Veterans of Sports Interactive's masterful series will lap up the new, improved FM2008. The biggest change since last time out is the Match-Flow feature. Match-Flow brings all the big game atmosphere to match days with previews, team talks and half-time and full time briefings. The International Management gameplay has been given an overhaul (Jose Mourinho, where are you now?) including player retirements, player interaction, international scouting and a separate sense of player morale between club and country. There's a new Confidence section where you can find out anytime what the board and fans think about you, and a transfer centre to go to, to see all the ins and outs and offers for your players. Club finances reflect the changes in the modern football world including fan days and collective bonuses. Real time tactical changes can be made while the match continues via a new tactics and radar pitch screen, and there's a revised look and functionality for 2008 to ensure quicker and easier navigation. << less
