Originally recognised in the fields of motion capture, cross platform development and quality/project management, the company is an experienced developer for all major platforms.

Sumo Digital's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2004 title, "OutRun2" (Xbox).

The company has been involved titles released on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC, PSP, DS and Xbox. Of these, "SEGA Superstars Tennis" (Xbox 360), "Virtua Tennis 3" (PSP), "OutRun2" (Xbox), "Driver 76" (PSP), "Virtua Tennis World Tour" (PSP) has been a best selling title.
