Rockstar, the company behind the staggeringly successful Grand Theft Auto series, is poised to announce its acquisition of Italian developer Neo Software in the latest expansion for the crew.
To be called Rockstar Vienna, the new office and studio will be in Vienna, surprisingly enough. As you may be aware, Neo is the firm behind the excellent Max Payne, released last year across PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.
Whether this is a re-branding exercise, or a shift in development focus for the former Neo staff will be interesting to see.
