The CM of Latin America for SCEA, Mark Stanley, has declared recently in an interview that the company's motion controller, the Playstation Move, has been a "tremendous success".
Speaking with website IndustryGamers, Stanley explained that the company is catching up on filling the (company's) pipeline with product as demand for the controller in the US and worldwide has exceeded expectations. He added that SCEA doesn't have enough (of the Move) to sufficiently supply the Latin American region, echoing the ongoing demand and the company's success with the device to date.
An official update on the sales data of the Playstation Move since supporting claims of that 1m units have shifted across North and Latin America and 1.5m units across Europe has yet to see the light of day, so it may be wise to take Stanley's enthusiasm with this in mind.
