Originating Xbox archetect J Allard will not be leaving Microsoft in the near future, according to Peter Moore. Speaking exclusively today to SPOnG, Moore moved to quash the rumour that had been gathering pace amongst games industry nose-tappers over the past few days.
"J was in LA for the weekend, I think he was BMXing, and now he's back up in Redmond. It's like Where's Waldo!" exclaimed Moore. "People forget that Jay has hundreds of software engineers. Jay is an engineer. That's what Jay does, a very bright guy, you've met him, you know this. Now, we're continuing to update Live with some big updates on the way. Updates with navigation, updates with the way media plays, updates to the general functionality and that's what J is continuing to work on. He had some time off after launch, but now those guys are on a death-march! Looking at the hardware and updating the platform."
We'll have the full interview with Peter Moore, covering Sony's pricing, the performance of Rare and loads of other juicy stuff in the coming weeks.
