Various UK games industry figures have responded to the
government's decision to make PEGI the sole, legally-enforceable ratings system for games in the UK.
They're all pretty pleased about it. Three of them (David Yarnton, UK GM, Nintendo; Andy Payne, MD, Mastertronic and Chairman of ELSPA and Neil Thompson, UK Xbox boss) think choosing PEGI is the "right decision", one (Mike Hayes, President and CEO, Sega Europe) thinks it's an "important decision", one (Rob Cooper, MD, Ubisoft UK) thinks it's a "good decision" while another (Keith Ramsdale, VP and General Manager, EA UK, Ireland and Nordics) thinks it's the "right choice".
