Matsushita joins the Q

Core is reporting that Matsushita, better known to you and me as Panasonic, is working on a console of its own, having had a taste of the market when co-developing the Q GameCube DVD hybrid.

The box has been dubbed EP Station, and will be capable of digital recording, broadband Web access, banking and online gaming.
