Internet Abuse: Just Deal with It
Adam Orth is a game designer with a mouth. He spoke at GDC about the problem that these two things could present, specifically Internet abuse. He said that, "As an industry we've become desensitised to this insane behaviour because it's overwhelming, ubiquitous and unstoppable. Somehow we've devolved while moving forward, and there's no going back."

But why did he get abuse? In 2007 Adam Orth worked at Sony as a designer once said, "F*ck Halo" in a conversation with David Jaffe, who went on to publish the statement on his blog.

In 2013 Orth was at Microsoft Studios also pointed out to people complaining about the Xbox One's "Always On" Internet status that they should, "Deal with it". He lost his job for that one.

Then Adam received abuse on the Internet. Speaking at GDC he said that this, "People began to distance themselves from me. I was dejected, ashamed and embarrassed,” he said.

“I destroyed my career and feared being blacklisted by the industry. I went from income to no income."
