Square of Japan has announced that it will be closing Square Sounds, its music subsidiary.
Square will take receipt of all the assets, including staff, and will begin to manage the music and soundtrack aspect of its business internally.
This is the latest example of Square licking its wounds after a harsh kicking at the box office with Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
