Valve Takes Steam Beyond Games
Valve is thinking big. By which we mean 'bigger than video games which, let's face it, are going through a bit of a Bronze Age right now' by opening Steam up to no-games stuff.

This will enable the company to make more money, which will then help the company to make better games. This is a good thing. This is what Valve has to say about the new direction:

"The Software titles coming to Steam range from creativity to productivity. Many of the launch titles will take advantage of popular Steamworks features, such as easy installation, automatic updating, and the ability to save your work to your personal Steam Cloud space so your files may travel with you.

More Software titles will be added in an ongoing fashion following the September 5th launch, and developers will be welcome to submit Software titles via Steam Greenlight."

i have left my 360 and ps3 behind nothing like some full true 1080p batman or duty running on a PC. Its great and I can use my 360 controler with it. its like i already have a 720. not bragging just letting people know that it can be done for fairly cheep. and games are cheeper for PC.
