Portal 2 to be Valve's Final Single-Player Game
According to video games industry valued media partner (aka journalist) Geoff Keighley in a new iOS app that details the making of Portal 2, that very game will be Valve's last "isolated single-player experience."

That corpse of strangled English for "single-player game" was spotted by MCV, which has Mr K quoting Valve's Gabe Newell.

"In the application Keighley said "Portal 2 will probably be Valve’s last game with an isolated single-player experience," saying he heard this directly from Valve boss Gabe Newell."

Says the full story... which is here.

What do we take from that? "isolated" doesnt that just mean that there will be a single and multiplayer experience? and hold on isnt portal 2 co-op? thus not a isolated single player experience? so many questions...

Also Half-life and Half-life 2 were not "isolated" single player games. They both came with their own versions of Half-life (2):Deathmatch.
