See Yu.
The creator of titles such as Hang On, Virtua Fighter and Shenmue, Yu Suzuki, has spoken recently in an interview, comparing he and industry fan-favourite, Shigeru Miyamoto.

When asked about Shigeru Miyamoto, Suzuki replied that, "If Miyamoto was the father of gaming, I suppose that makes me the mother."

The interviewer added that Miyamoto was probably more the mother type, taking inspiration from his own home garden, while Suzuki makes games more about motorcycles, fighter jets, punching and shooting people.

Suzuki went on to explain that Miyamoto is able to take the same type of game deeper and deeper where as he would prefer to take on different types of games and concepts.

What do you think of Suzuki's analogy that he and Miyamoto could be the mother and father of videogames? Any thoughts, feel free to post them down below.

It's amazing how guys like Bushnell and Baer are always ignored in these father and mother of videogames battles...
