Microsoft: One Million Kinects Down - Four million to Go

Microsoft announced yesterday that it has sold through more than one million of its motion control device, the Microsoft Kinect, during the first ten days of the device's launch. It reaffirmed that it intends to maintain its target of five million sales before the end of 2010.

The motion control device has been on the market for two weeks in the US and approximately one week across Europe. The controller has contributed towards a strong grossing week on the high street with £113m being generated in revenue with prosperous sales of the latest CoD title, Black Ops, helping as well.

Kinect will see its official launch across the Asian regions over next week. Looks like Microsoft is aiming to Kinect the whole world, no?
