Katamari and Noby Noby Boy creator Keita Takahashi can't seem to make his mind up about games. This week he's all "At E3 I saw people putting on speeches but I thought the future seemed a bit dark". Last month, however, at an event held in London and attended by our own Svend, the same Mr Takahashi
said that he saw Apple, Facebook and Google marking a "massive shift in the video game industry."The more recent, and frankly dour, statements see the developer and sculptor, stating to
CVG that, "I'm actually not thinking about a future in games. It's not that I'm not interested in them, but I want to try lots of different things.
Why? Well, "The 3D games didn't spark my interest...I think motion control's a bit old now, I don't think those games are the future. It all seemed a bit dull."
Sounds like a right Noway Noway Boy to us.
