Double Fine main man Tim Schafer's dream of self-publishing will have to sleep some more as the Brutal Legend developer's latest, download-only, game has been snapped up by THQ.Costume Quest is the name of the game.
It's set on Halloween night when young children parade around the streets demanding sweets while dressing up as ghouls, ghosts and the latest hate figure. Except in the game, the costumes actually become real and enable the kids to do battle.
1UP says that this charming sounding RPG is only part of a deal with THQ, because "The THQ deal will also include a third-person adventure game, coming in early 2011," apparently.
