Double Fine's second Kickstarter, Massive Chalice, has closed, breezing past its goal by over half a million dollars.
The target was $725,000, but the final total stands at an impressive $1,229,015. It's not as impressive as Broken Age (formerly Double Fine Adventure), which obliterated its $400K goal to raise $3.3m, but we're sure no-one at the studio is complaining.
Double Fine describes Massive Chalice as "a single player turn-based tactics game within a multi-generational strategy campaign built for replayability." The game is being developed alongside Broken Age, with separate teams working in parallel.
