Final Fantasy-a-thon!
Recently SquareSoft of Japan announced that the company was in the process of writing a massive twenty-three new games for a variety of platforms. Well, today Square put out a press release containing scant details on every title.

Not surprisingly, the majority of the titles are Final Fantasy based games. The new line up includes a massive twelve FF games. These are:

Final Fantasy X for PS2
Final Fantasy XI for PS2
Final Fantasy XII for PS2
Final Fantasy VII for PS2 to include bonus DVD
Final Fantasy VIII for PS2 to include bonus DVD
Final Fantasy IX for PS2 to include bonus DVD
Final Fantasy II for WonderSwan Color
Final Fantasy III for WonderSwan Color
Final Fantasy IV for unknown handheld
Final Fantasy V for unknown handheld
Final Fantasy VI for unknown handheld
New Final Fantasy title for unknown handheld

And you thought Capcom could milk a games series! It would be a fair assumption to make, that the "unknown handheld" would have read Game Boy Advance, if it weren't for Nintendo's bitter comments from last week, regarding the long-running feud with Square.

The other titles in development are:

Console:

A Disney RPG
Two online RPGs
Three online sports titles

Handheld:

Wild Card for WonderSwan Color
Romancing Saga for WonderSwan Color
Front Mission for WonderSwan Color
Seiken Densetsu (new Mana title!) for WonderSwan Color
