The Land Before Time Junior Jurassic Japes On Gameboy Color
Swing! Interactive Entertainment today announced "The Land Before Time" for GameBoy Color, scheduled for release late October 2000.
"The Land Before Time" is based around the characters created in the hugely successful animated motion pictures and animated TV series of the same name. "The Land Before Time" features the adventures of a baby dinosaur called Littlefoot, and his junior jurassic chums Cera, Petrie, Chomper, Spike and Ducky. Created by legendary animator Don Bluth, six "The Land Before Time" movies have attracted an international following.
"The Land Before Time" begins with Littlefoot and his friends trapped in the 'Mysterious Beyond', home of the dreaded Sharptooth, a T-Rex. Taking control of Littlefoot, players must find their way back to the safe haven of the Green Valley.
Gameplay takes the form of a classic side-on scrolling adventure. As the adventure unfolds the young dinosaurs must battle foes including ravenous dinosaurs, dodge fierce fires and plenty more. Danger is never far away! Features on "The Land Before Time" include Hi-Color Front End Presentation (Cart dependant), full battery backup, a print out of "The Land Before Time" World Mini Map for reference and gameplay depth within control mechanism, achieved with simple to complex manouvres of characters.
