Red Storm Entertainment Gains Valuable Addition To Pr Staff
Red Storm Entertainment Inc today announced the addition of Cassie Vogel, a former television news anchor, as the company’s public relations manager.
MORRISVILLE, NC –April 5, 2000-- Red Storm Entertainment Inc., today announced the addition of Cassie Vogel, a former television news anchor, as the company’s public relations manager.
Most recently serving as a primary weekday anchor and reporter for WTVD in the Raleigh-Durham area, Ms. Vogel has spent the last six years working in the television news field. With a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and previous experience working for a public relations firm, Ms. Vogel will provide a unique perspective for Red Storm’s general public relations efforts. She will be the main contact for the company’s interaction with local and nationwide mass media.
“Cassie’s appointment as public relations manager is the logical next step in our long-term growth strategy for the company,” said Doug Littlejohns, president and CEO. “With a full-time in-house contact for the mass media, Red Storm will be able to cement our position to establish ourselves as a major presence in the games and entertainment publishing industries.”
Ms. Vogel joins Red Storm just as the industry’s largest trade show, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), quickly approaches. Ms. Beasley will continue to serve as the company’s representative with the gaming PC press, and Ms. Jones will also continue to represent the company with the gaming Console press. Red Storm’s PR staff is now making appointments with major media outlets for the show.
Red Storm Entertainment will be exhibiting at this year’s E3 in booth 1246, South Hall, Los Angeles, Convention Center, May 11-13, 2000.
