Cryo Interactive presents the adaptation of one of the most fantastic adventures in literature. Inspired by the work of H.G.Wells and the theme of time travel, Time Machine is a game of hitherto unseen richness and an atmosphere filled with mystery.

Due for release 26th May, 2000, Time Machine (£34.99) will add a new dimension to the real-time action and adventure genre in PC gaming.

The hero, Wells himself, is projected into the year 800,000 by his famous machine that disappears on arrival. Wells discovers a future ravaged by temporal storms where people struggle to survive amidst the currents that drag their memories away into the depths of time. Welcome to a world of sand and danger, where the sun never shines.

Only one being is capable of restoring the balance of time and help Wells find his own era again - a mythical being, a Demi-god, The Master of the Hourglass:Khronos

Time Machine is the first of the next generation real-time adventure games. Using brand new Cryogen technology which has been developed in-house at Cryo Interactive, Time Machine plays host to full freedom-of-movement action and adventure set against spectacular 3D graphics.

Cryogen Technology allows the characters to be built up of polygons to render them more realistic, whilst the backgrounds are produced completely in hi-resolution throughout the entire game. This means continuous, unblemished graphics with no break-up or clipping as you steer Wells, the main character, through the splendour of Time Machine.

Time Machine includes unique features such as the advanced AI (artificial intelligence) which governs characters' behaviour and actions. This adds a level of "life" to every character in the game and allows Time Machine to be played time after time without ever reliving the same scenes.

Cryo Interactive are renowned for publishing inspired games that are both original and uniquely playable and Time Machine supports this, adding fresh ideas and enhanced interactivity to the ever-growing action and adventure genre.
