Capcom's awesome Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series has been the subject of an awesome feature-length film directed by awesome Japanese auteur Takashi Miike. You may have heard about it. In Japan, the theatrical release was back in February - now distribution company Vap has announced a DVD and Blu-ray release.
Both will hit Japanese store shelves on 22nd August. The Blu-ray will cost ¥6,090 and the DVD edition will cost ¥5,040. They will include audio commentary from director Miike as well as Ace Attorney series director Shuu Takumi. A bonus DVD disc, included on both editions, will feature a making-of documentary, promotional footage, trailers, and an interview with Takumi.
Miike has indicated that a worldwide release is planned for the official Ace Attorney movie.
