Ubisoft recently announced that it will be doing away with the traditional paper manuals for its games, opting for an in-game substitute. No doubt a bunch of eco-friendly people will be cheering the move. You can also add Cliff Bleszinski to that list.The Gears of War developer took some time to write on
his Twitter page that he "fully supports losing paper manuals." That's nice. Cliff's not only a man of war, he's a man of eco-peace too.
Perhaps games companies will go a step further and, once all manuals are done away with, create thinner cases as a result. When you have a collection as big as we do, those things can take up way too much space.
