Retiring Sony Computer Entertainment President, CEO and Co-COO, David Reeves, only heard of Crackdown developer, RealTime World's until last week. This might be quite upsetting for former managing director of Capcom in Europe, Gary Dale. Dale was appointed as CEO of RTW this week... not bad for a Monday. Dale was also COO of Rockstar games until he resigned due 'to personal reasons' in January of this year.
Why would Reeves even mention the Scottish company? Apparently because it has been rumoured that he's going to consult for it on games such as the forthcoming APB. Not so, says Reeves to Develop.
"I’d never ever heard of Realtime Worlds until someone asked me about them a couple of days ago. I can honestly say no, that rumour is not true."
Must be nice for him to actually be able to comment on rumour and speculation.
