Politics: Scottish Secretary to Hold Games Industry Crisis Talks
The UK's Scottish Secretary, Michael Moore (not that one), is to visit Dundee to meet with games industry figureheads to discuss ways of revitalising local business.

Moore will be speaking with Abertay University principal Bernard King, TIGA's Richard Wilson and others on the 7th October, following the collapse of Realtime Worlds and its cancellation of online title APB.

Labour MP for Dundee East, Jim McGovern, approved of the meeting and said that the coalition government needs to realise the consequences of the scrapping of an industry tax break. While "other countries are rolling out the red carpet" for games studios, the current government is "pulling the rug out from under ours," he said.
