Question: What do you get if you mix guns, broads, a place called Farmington and a healthy dose of dirty cops? Answer: The Shield!

The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning drama has made its way from the small screen to the... well, small screen with a PC attached.

You take on the role of Vic Mackey, a dirty cop in the dirty world of a Los Angeles suburb, as he dives into the greyest areas of the law. The game takes the form of a lost episode, put together in close collaboration with the show's creators to give the game a feel of knuckle-busting authenticity.

You'll need to thwart robberies, apprehend killers and hunt down gangs that are insidiously working their way into Farmington. All in a day's work for Vic though, eh? Well, it wouldn't really be a day's work for Vic if it didn't include a bit of brute force, a bit of evidence-planting and a few bribes thrown about. He's not Nick Rowan from Heartbeat, after all. Don't think using dirty tactics will make The Shield a walk in the park, though. You'll need to keep your heat meter down to avoid attracting the watchful eyes of Internal Affairs. << less
