Something For The Weekend, Sir? This Week's Releases
Friday's rolled around once again, and as near as we can tell that means its time to play some games instead of reading about them when really we ought to be working. Allow SPOnG to guide you through this week's releases.

First up, and foremost on SPOnG's list of gaming priorities, is Tomb Raider: Anniversary for PS2, PC and PSP. Yup, it's time to relive those first fumbling steps into sexual confusion brought on by women made only of pixels. (SPOnG only finds it confounding when when we stumble across amassed real life Laras.) To find out what our Gavin thought of this remake of the original, have a look at SPOnG's review.

Next up is Shadowrun for the PC and 360 from developer Fasa. This is the first time we'll get to see Microsoft's much-vaunted Live for Windows interact with Xbox Live, which in turn means PC FPS fans will be able to face off against their console counterparts to see which is the superior shooty-shooty platform.

Nintendo's dusting off Wario once again this week and making him a Master of Disguise on the DS. After a phenomenal run of mini-games in the form of WarioWare, you could be forgiven if you've forgotten that the evil plumber's roots are in platforming, but consider Master of Disguise a reminder.

If you want to relive your hardened bald man fantasies of trudging around scummy Farmington District, The Shield from Empire Interactive might be right up your prostitute-ridden precinct.

For those of you who have... we're screwing up our faces even as we type this... sporting inclinations, Smash Court Tennis 3 on the PSP might be enough of a fix to stop you doing something stupid like... going outside.

Also out this week are... lots of other DS games. Kameleon, Labyrinth, Meteos: Disney Magic, Monster Bomber, New Touch Party Game and Turn it Around are all sat in the DS section of your local retailer. Rounding things out with your four-legged fix is Linda Green's Equestrian Challenge for the PC and PS2. Now go settle into that groove on your couch and, the weekend has arrived.
