Exclusive: New PS2 Title Based On Cult TV Series – 24 Revealed!
We can exclusively reveal that Studio Cambridge is currently working away at a video-game version of the cult TV series 24, starring Kiefer ‘bad-shaving’ Sutherland. Much like Studio Cambridge’s most well-know title, Primal, 24 will be published by Sony and released exclusively for the Sony machines. That includes the PSP as well as the PS2.

No diary or gameplay details have yet been provided, although the nature of the TV show will obviously bear relevance. Given that the TV series’ was uniquely time-sensitive, we’d expect the video-game version to play on the same urgent notion of an all-pervading ‘countdown’. In fact, we’d quite willingly place a sizeable bet that the finished game takes about (or exactly) 24 hours to finish.

Expect more 24 details at some point in the future: just not between 13:00 and 14:00 today.

Previously on 24.....

Jack Bauer goes undercover, sneaking his way into a building. But wait...that's no building, it's a monolith like PS2 standing up. Bad joke. LOL

Sounds cool and worth checking out. Now we have the choice of Gabe Logan or Jack Bauer both wearing a Sony badge, and busting terrorist butt. Who would you choose?

Let's hope the two universes of Syphon Filter and 24, don't have trouble clashing for ideas. 24 is a bit of a coup by Sony though, it has to be said. Now I wonder if this 24 game will have online functions?

Let's hope it the game isn't as contrived and tedious as the TV series.

I got utterly bored of season two after about the fourth ep. Plus, if you miss and ep or two you're fooked for the reason of the season.

Well I know it can get like that, but season two is one of the best seasons. You have to stick to going half way through to get hooked.

You can never judge a book by it's first page, or a series by it's first few episodes.

Well that's true most of the time.

Whatever the game ends up like, I hope it fairs better than Acclaim's rather costly Alias mistake.

Anyway, Studio Cambridge impressed me with Primal (yet to checkout Ghosthunter), a game which shows them to be technically more than competent. With that angle bagged, lets hope the team concentrate on the game play side of things.
