The developers at Gearbox Software have contributed to many of the most acclaimed franchises in interactive entertainment - including Civilization, Duke Nukem 3d, Quake, Half-Life, James Bond 007, Counter-Strike, Doom, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Halo: Combat Evolved.

Gearbox 's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1999 title, "Half-Life: Opposing Force" (PC).

The company has been involved titles released on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC, PSP, DS and Xbox. Of these, "Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30" (Xbox), "Halo: Combat Evolved" (PC), "Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway" (PC), "Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway" (PS3), "Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30" (PC) has been a best selling title.

The company is currently involved with the forthcoming 2010 release "Aliens: Colonial Marines" (Xbox 360).
