French outfit Vivendi caused something of a stir when it revealed that it had signed the rights to Quentin Tarantino’s latest blockbuster Kill Bill earlier this year.
However, for no reason at all, the rights were bought with no plans to use them.
In strange news breaking this morning, the company has confirmed that Kill Bill is not under development at this time. “We did acquire the rights to the game in 2003,” said a Vivendi US spokesman. “However at this point in time, there is no development taking place.”
