GameStop in the States has used its investor call to make it clear that it very much approves of Microsoft dropping the less-than-loved Kinect from its Xbox One offering.Of course what it's actually said is that it's happy with the price cut that sees an Xbox One system without Kinect selling at in the region of £50 less than the Kinect version. GameStop president Tony Bartel said:
"I definitely think we're already seeing in our stores with our reservation program as well as dialogue with PowerUp Rewards [members that] there's a stronger demand as a result of the price drop. The good news for us is... we'll sell a lot more units."
