You have to hand it to Microsoft and the Xbox brand, despite years of being almost totally ignored in Japan - the home of Sony, SEGA and Nintendo - it keeps plugging away. This time with an excited announcement of a new game.
"I’m very excited about the announcement of the release window in Japan. An unique exclusive title for Xbox One is going to be released by an awesome Japanese studio." So said Microsoft's Phil Spencer, a man who gets excited on a regular basis if the press releases are to be believed.
And when do we get to hear about this? "I’m looking forward to go to Tokyo Game Show this year, and I want to show everyone something never seen before. Stay tuned!" says Phil.
TGS starts on September 20th for the general public this year.
