Have you ever found yourself playing a split-screen game of Halo 4 with a mate, and having no idea who's being rewarded with achievements? Thought so. Well, Xbox One aims to tackle this with colour-coded pop-ups.
In the Xbox 360 days, the only way to tell who had unlocked the achievement without pausing the game and checking the achievement list was to check for a flashing light on that players controller. You can see an example of how the Xbox One aims to tackle this in the video below, which was first streamed on the official Microsoft Twitch.tv account.
Players will be able to choose their own specific colour which will pop up on screen as they earn an achievement.
