Do you miss Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid 4 that died on its arse just last year? Well, there's a reason for that - the mode is returning in Hideo Kojima's upcoming sequel, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.Kojima said in a recent interview that the multiplayer component will be returning, and is being developed in Kojima Productions' new LA studio.
"Yes, we plan on creating
Metal Gear Online. Multiplayer right now is being created at our LA studio as well as us. We’re working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans," were his exact words.
The news comes shortly after the producer revealed that,
when it's finally released, Metal Gear Solid V will look miles better than it did at Microsoft's E3 conference. And it looked pretty stunning then, so we can't wait to see how it turns out.
