No Xbox One for Japan
Xbox might not be the most popular consumer product in Japan, but you can be sure that there are a pocket of fans in the country that watched Microsoft's E3 presentation with anticipation. Well, they'll have to wait for the Xbox One. Until late 2014 in fact, as the console will be MIA in Asian countries and... well, almost every other country on the planet come Holiday 2013.

Microsoft has released a list of 'supported countries' within which the Xbox One will be sold come November 2013 launch time. Or, to put it more bluntly, the countries in which Xbox One will actually work - the console's online authentication system also features region-locking, which means that anyone eager enough to import the console won't be able to connect to Xbox Live. Which means they won't be able to actually play their Xbox One.

But why would you want to live anywhere else other than the countries Microsoft has listed below?

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Brazil
Canada
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Mexico
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Russia
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
United Kingdom
United States
