Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Suddenly Released on iPad
A disturbance in the force... a good one.
Surprising news for tablet fans this week, as a port of Bioware's classic RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has suddenly been released for Apple's iPad.
The port was handled by Aspyr Media, a developer that is largely known for its conversion of big-name titles on Apple computers. The iPad version offers improved visuals over the 2003 Xbox original, as well as a "a streamlined user interface custom-made for the iPad's touch screen" that assists with text and battle.
All of the assets, including game worlds, character customisations and voice acting script, are reportedly intact. Which is great news, because the game's awesome. Check out a gameplay video below.
