Microsoft's Xbox One will be incorporating advanced Kinect features to explore the new console's Dashboard.
Using voice, a user can bark, "Xbox - Go Home" to swoop back immediately to the home page of the Dashboard. You can also use what's called Instant Switching, which immediately loads up Music, TV, Movie, Browser and Game applications whenever you command it to.
Skype and EPSN were also used to demonstrate new Kinect features - using Smartglass on a phone, a user can load up ESPN and interact with player stats and fantasy teams using widgets that appear on the side of the TV. An Xbox Guide offers complete TV channel listings and you can select what to watch by your voice.
Perhaps most interesting was the ability to extend both hands and 'shrink' an app to return it back to the home screen. Pretty nifty UI, there.
