Resident Evil switches away from Mikami production?

Capcom is a strange old company to get to grips with at times. A few months back the company held an all-singing, all-dancing event at which the mantle of hardware support for the Resident Evil series was passed to Nintendo.

The company stated, “From now on, all BioHazard games created under Shinji Mikami's development team will be dedicated to the Nintendo GameCube only.” Fairly conclusive, we are sure you will agree.

Does this mean that the recently announced Biohazard Online game for PlayStation 2 will be produced by someone other than Mikami, the man who created the series?
