Capcom's Vancouver division - which was behind the development of Dead Rising 2 - has confirmed that it has had to make redundancies following a string of rumours on Twitter. The
statement on Twitter goes, "Capcom Vancouver has let go 7% of our employees as a result of unsuitable fit with the studio goals." But the company has assured its followers that the studio is still actively looking for fresh talent,
pointing to its careers page.
It follows a string of similar layoffs and closures in Radical Entertainment, Slant Six and Rockstar Vancouver, making some unsavoury news for the Canadian games industry.
SPOnG has approached Capcom for further information.
