Microsoft has announced that it will be bolstering its digital offering with three new Xbox Live Arcade games in development for release in 2013.
From the studio behind the Toy Soldiers games, Ascend the New Gods is a fantasy action game where you stab the hell out of goblins and other mythical creatures. It's incredibly gory, too. Which will satisfy a lot of Daily Mail mothers out there, I'm sure.
A trailer for a racing game by Twisted Pixel, LocoCycle, introduces us to a futuristic motorcycle called Iris - and reminds us all of Extreme-G at the same time. The third game is a physics-based adventure game called Matter, where you appear to control a spherical object and interact with a morphing world. It's "made for Kinect", too.
