Xbox importing madness

Reports have started to circulate in Japan that gamers eager for Tecmo’s Dead or Alive 3 have started to import the Microsoft console from the States, paying an average of $450 per machine. The reports suggest that Japanese gamers are crazy to pay such a figure to import a console.

Over here, import retailers have the cheek to ask £600-plus for early Xbox ownership. Or, you can wait a little while, and buy one at half that price, with a load of regularly-priced, easily available games. Hmmm…
