Whoever is responsible for the Tweets of Sony's fictional advertising character Kevin Butler is probably looking for a new 'Social Networking Executive Tweetage Producer' role this morning. Why?

The Kevin Butler Twitter account only went and told the world (or his followers) the jailbreak code that shafts the DRM on PS3s.

Yes, that code. The one that Sony's lawyers are currently chasing around the Internet in an attempt to have it removed.

According to Engadet "Travis La Marr (aka @exiva) tweeted the now-infamous PS3 METLDR root key towards Butler with the challenge to 'Come at me.'"

The Butler character, unaware of the code's importance and mistaking it for a sequence from paper'n'pen game, Battleship, retweeted.

Tweet's been removed now.
