Ain't no stopping Sony now it's on the litigation train! After successfully wrrestling hacker George Hotz into submission, the company is now planning to subpoena YouTube, Twitter, PayPal and Slashdot in order to sniff out more homebrew behaviour.Various PlayStation and cracking-centric forums and websites will also be targeted, in a renewed anti-piracy push. According to court documents obtained by
PSX-SCENE, some of the supposed hackers that Sony is after go by the names of Cantero, Peter, Bushing, Segher, hermesEOL, Waninkoko, KaKaRoTo, Hermes, Kmeaw and Graf_Chokolo.
The subpoenas will force the social networking sites and forums to release details for each user, including contacts and personal information, along with a record of all posts and documents created, IP addresses and more.
