Following a turbulent few years of management shuffles, recriminations and relocations leading to its own CEO saying that its corporate affairs smelled, "like an old onion that smells really "Atari has made a new, executive appointment with former Walt Disney man, Alex Chung, becoming its new senior director of digital strategy and distribution.Chung will take responsibility of the company's PC and casual games distribution across the US. Prior to holding the above postion Chung worked at The Walt Disney Internet Group dealing with social networking, online gaming and partnerships.
Atari President Jim Wilson said of Chung's appointment:
"Alex joins Atari as we continue to drive our business into the online market, his strong background in casual and social digital distribution and strategic partnerships will reinforce and expand those revenue streams."
So, let's hope that Alexa... damn, Alex Chung can help turn Atari around... again.
