Microsoft held its pre-E3 Natal naming ceremony in LA on Sunday night. We were there in the form of US reporter Joe Chagan (who you can follow on Twitter @SPOnG_Lupos). Natal is now 'Kinect' and you'll be able to purchase it in November.Key to launch of the controller-free controller are, of course, are the games. These are all firmly aimed straight past the hardcore gamer and into the bosom of the family:
*
Kinect Sports: that's right. This is a compilation of six mini-games: boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer and table tennis.
*
Kinectimals: train a lion, a cheetah or a tiger.
*
Joyride: as predicted, the XBLA title comes to Natal/Kinect. This was the title from
last year's E3 that "pioneers a new way to play".
*
Kinect Adventures: a four or two-player river rafting game.
*
Dance Central: coming from MTV. For this read
So You Think You Can Dance.
*
Star Wars: you get to play with a light sabre! Without having a light saber!
*
Yoga: OK, not technically a game at all.
More news coming as soon as Joe escapes the demos.
