Phil Harrison Helps Found "Disruptive" Game Fund Group
Phil Harrison, the former Sony exec who helped shape the fortunes of the PlayStation business, has co-founded a new investment group called London Venture Partners, with an aim to fund "disruptive" game projects.

The company will focus on the online, social, mobile and web gaming spaces, the arrangement will see Harrison position himself as General Partner. Harrison previously worked for Atari alongside fellow London Venture Partner founder David Gardner. They resigned as President and CEO respectively when Namco Bandai acquired most of the European arm of the company.

Former EA VP David Lau-Kee and Investment Banking consultant Paul Heydon join Harrison and Gardner as the founding fathers of the investment group. As it stands, London Venture Partners aren't ready to make a public announcement on its initial projects and plans, but you know what they say - when they want to say something, they'll... er, say it.
