Valve Announces Release Of New Steam UI For Monday
Steam users won't have long to wait for the new Webkit-based user interface, as Valve has announced a release date of 26th April following two months of successful beta testing.

The new UI brings with it customisable games libraries and syndicated news feeds alongside a dollop of new dynamic features. Plus, it looks really freaking cool. Unfortunately, news of this rollout does not mean Mac users can expect a release for their machines - the OS X version of Steam is being worked on separately to the UI changes.

With the new system comes a DLC announcement for Left 4 Dead 2, called The Passing. Arriving tomorrow on the Xbox 360 and PC, the add-on acts as a bridge between the events of the first and second zombie-fighting games. It'll be free for PC users, but Xbox 360 players will need to pay 560 Microsoft Points.
