Mass Effect 2 Code Hints at PS3
Bless the chaps over at Polish site Kikoo. Or maybe a pepper them with salt. Apparently they've discovered some code buried in Mass Effect 2 that indicates a PS3 version is at least in planning.

The code snippet reads in part:

m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePC = 3? 48,753 m_srSpendTalentPointsMessagePS3 =? 348,755 m_srSpendTalentPointsMessageXBox? = 348,754

It's not much, and we're not coders so we can't go too deeply into it. Maybe you can? Help us in the Forum.

Mass Effect 2 uses the Unreal 3 Engine.

Most games that use the unreal 3 engine have a lot of of left over config files for the 3 main platforms it supports (pc, xbox, ps3). This looks like a bit from an "engine.ini" or other ini file.

It's likely this is just one of those left overs... after all they'd never have intentionally left in something not needed. A lot of this is generated automatically and for every platform.

That said, this looks specific enough to Mass Effect to have been created intentionally... so i'm not saying this can't be a sign of a PS3 version.
